Camp StaffChip Rohr, Director

Chip, a member of the DC/VA Soccer Hall of Fame, has been director of coaching since the inception of this camp, and has over 40 years of soccer camp experience in Virginia. He has a USSF “A” license and a National Youth License. He also holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and the English FA Preliminary Badge. Chip was a 33-year member of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association Coaching Education Staff and has conducted coaches clinics throughout the state. He has 37 years’ experience in coaching high school soccer including developing the soccer programs at Osbourn High School and Brentsville District High School. Chip also served as an assistant coach at George Mason University. He is certified in First Aid and CPR.

Camp StaffRob Watters, Assistant Director

A 17-year veteran at Chip Rohr Soccer Camp, Rob has 19 years of soccer camp experience in Northern Virginia. He is in his 22nd year as girl's soccer coach at Osbourn Park High School and has extensive experience in training and coaching at the travel-team level. He is a four-time District Coach of the Year and was in the District Champions in 2006. He has made multiple regional semi-final appearances and has played at Virginia Wesleyan College.

Camp StaffBrenda Cary, Coach

Brenda is in her 4th year as a coach at Chip’s Camp. She also served for 5 years as a Counselor while in high school and college. She played years of travel team soccer In Prince William County. She played varsity soccer for Brentsville District High School (2002 State Champions) and was Team Captain her senior year. She played 4 years for Longwood University and served one season as an assistant coach there. Brenda also played professional futsal in Italy for the National Champions. She has coaching experience with the Annandale Boys and Girls Club soccer camps, with youth teams in Italy, and as varsity girls’ assistant coach at Potomac High School.

Camp StaffBryan Darby, Coach/Lifeguard

Bryan, a former camper at Chip’s Camp, played travel soccer in Prince William County, followed by varsity soccer at Osbourn Park High School. He is currently playing club soccer at Radford University. Bryan was a counselor for 2 years before getting coaching certification. He also coaches a u10 team in Radford.

Camp StaffSarah Shoeb, Counselor / Lifeguard

A 3rd-year counselor & lifeguard at camp, Sarah plays Varsity soccer at Osbourn High School as well as travel soccer. She is a certified soccer referee. She is a certified lifeguard with experience at Kingsbrook pool, and is certified in CPR and AED.

Camp StaffKara Otto, Coach

Kara played varsity soccer at the University of Buffalo. She has been girls assistant coach at Osbourn Park High School for 5 years. This is her 5th year as a coach at Chip's Soccer Camp.

All coaches are certified lifeguards and most are CPR/First Aid certified
